Is this Samantha or Molly???

I asked the seller, and she claims it's Samantha. She said she NEVER let her daughter mess with the hair. She wasn't allowed to take down Molly's, or Kirsten's braids. I pointed out the silver eye to her, and explained about that, and told her Samantha had brown eyes! I'm sure they never made a Samantha with blue/grey eyes, but maybe I'm wrong. Molly is my favorite doll, and that face sure looks like Molly's!

This is definetely not Samantha, Sam haves brown eyes. Also, her hair looks way too straight for a Samantha. It's not Molly either - Molly's eyes are not blue, yet a blue-grey. Might be a Today-girl, but none of the named dolls I know.

That's not Sam, right? I don't have Sam, but it looks like Molly's eyes, one with silver eye. The hair doesn't look like Molly's, though.

I looked it up once more, it might be Molly, I compared the eye color of the intact eye with my Molly.
Only point is, that her hair looks very straight to me. I have a Molly with loose braids aswell, and her hair is rather curly (from the braids).

The eye coloring definitely matches the Molly's that I have. Was there ever an AGOT with that same coloring, and would any of the AGOT's be old enough to have silver eye? I always thought silver eye happened only in the older dolls. I've only seen it in......Molly, Addy, and Kirsten, and only in pre-mattel.

Just looked on Meg's site, and yes, AGOT 19 (now discontinued) had "light brown hair, light skin, grey eyes." And, yes the PM Today dolls could get silver eye.

I know that the main difference between the Today brown hair/brown eyes doll and Sam is that Sam's hair is curlier, so I could imagine that the same is with the Molly/Today.

She's a pretty doll, but not Samantha and probably not Molly either.

This doll looks like the retired Today girl to me, the one with brown hair and gray eyes--much sought after by collectors, since she has been discontinued.

The sad thing is, if the seller knew this and decribed her so, she would probably get more for her than for the "Samantha" she is describing.
